How To Join
Before joining, prospective members are encouraged to sit in on a meeting or two to see for yourself what we are all about. Once you decide that you want to join, you can do so at the door just before or during any regular meeting.
Current members range from students to retirees, and from professionals to novices. Many have only recently acquired their first camera. We are quite liberal on our interpretation of photography, and encourage experimentation. Colour, Black and White prints and slides, digital photography, as well as digitally manipulated works are all shared. Although we still have some film shooters, the vast majority of the club now shoot digital images, and the club owns digital projection equipment for slideshows and audio-visual displays.
Fees
- Per year: $80
- Addition person at same address: $60
- Student, with student ID: $40
All fees in Canadian funds. Reduced fees are charged to those joining part-way through the year. The fees cover the rental of the meeting hall, purchase of club equipment and other expenses. The club has no employees and is run entirely on a volunteer basis.
